Just got this amp off of guy on Craigs list.

This is a NICE, (Fender style) clean sounding amp. Has the power I need for gigs, small enough to carry around, lot's of tone options, great Reverb, and will stay clean and not distort too much if I don't want it to. ( I think that's called headroom ???) But most of all, sounds GREAT. It has a nice full rich spanky sound. Doesn't have a tube pre-amp so it's not going to sound good when overdriven but that's not at all what I'm using it for. The solid state Gain is also very useable but only to get just a hint of dirt. Set the gain past 5 and it starts to sound like crap. It will not come close to getting a hard rock 80's gain type of sound on it's own. It's not that type of machine (think early 70's era ). But it still Really inspires me to keep playing which, is saying a lot about a clean amp. I compared it with my friends Fender Deluxe Reverb which was what I was originally looking for, and the sound is very very close.

It has new tubes (2 x 6L6)and the only thing I think I am going to do is add a Celestion Alnico Blue speaker. An expensive speaker, but this amp is worthy of it and I think I'll get a big bang for the buck in the long run.

Nice! Good clean headroom can be a really good thing. You can always run dirt boxes in front of it, but good clean headroom doesn't come in a pedal.
